December 6th, 2008 - Dog Park Follies

Interesting doings at the Dog Park yesterday. Everyone was cold and running hard to get warm was the norm. This little Cocker Spaniel was a ball o'fire doodlebug and was running around the park at top speed like one of those remote control monster trucks, bouncing off of every obstacle.
She would burn ass around luring Happy to give chase, then make a power turn at maximum velocity that would throw her into a four-wheel tailspin, ending in a cloud of snow and dust.
Then it would be off to the races again. It was hilarious entertainment.
Happy wasn't exactly sure what she was going to do next, but he was having a good ol time playing along.
Look at the feet on this creation. Her wheelbase as about as long as her height, which led to much high-speed hi-jinx, spin-outs and chicanery.

0 to 60 in 4.7 seconds.

Not to be outdone, Happy finally noticed how far away he was and after repeated pleading calls, he burned up the trail and set a straight land-speed record back to the treat bag.
