Hey, it's not ALL about birds here in migrationville. Give the willows their due. Makes you want to go hop in an inner tube and steer with your toes. If it wasn't for the level of fecal coliform, that is. Ahh, it's such a MODERN world when it's not in the Dark Ages. What's a little fecal coliform between a few hundred thousand friends. Check this out! We have a nesting Cooper's Hawk on our school trail at Adams. Man, is she hard to see without optics! She is THE color of the tree bark. It will be interesting to see what happens and if there are little hawklings flegging about soon. Can you feel the drama!?

A young robin of Spring eyes me suspiciously, as a young robin should. Somehow I hear Marge Simpson grunting. Rrrmph.
Yes! Bluebirds on our bluebird trail! I saw four the other day, on both sets of nest boxes. Huzzah!

This is either a white egret or a failed attempt at a new camouflage pattern for the B1 bomber.
